Common Questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about Holly Ferguson’s trauma-informed massage and bodywork services, including InnerWave™ Bodywork, Kinesiology, and Emotional Reclaiming™.

InnerWave™ is a fascia-focused bodywork technique designed to work with areas of tension and restricted movement in a gentle, comfortable way. Many clients experience a greater sense of ease, mobility, and relaxation during and after sessions.

The InnerWave™ tool was developed to provide a unique mechanical input to soft tissue during treatment. It is used to support the body’s natural adaptability and to address areas that may feel persistently tight or stressed.

Sessions are performed with the client fully clothed, similar to what you might expect in a chiropractic or therapeutic bodywork setting. The focus is on supporting comfort, mobility, and overall wellbeing within the scope of licensed massage therapy.

Kinesiology uses gentle muscle testing as a form of biofeedback to explore how the body is responding to stress in the present moment. By working with these patterns in a supportive way, sessions are designed to encourage greater awareness, steadiness, and emotional resilience.

Emotional Reclaiming™ is a structured, body-based process designed to help you explore long-held emotional patterns and reconnect with your inner resilience. It combines therapeutic bodywork and guided awareness to support greater clarity, steadiness, and self-trust.
